Our Cloud Infrastructure Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for the design, deployment, management, and optimization of the organization's hybrid cloud and on premises infrastructure and staff. This role ensures secure, scalable, and reliable environments to support business objectives. The Cloud Infrastructure Manager works closely with cross-functional teams and drives innovation through cloud technologies and automation.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure & Operations Management
    • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
    • Manages physical datacenters equipment including servers, storage and software such as VMware and Azure HCI stack.• Oversee the administration, performance, and modernization of SQL environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and alignment with cloud strategies (e.g., migration to Azure SQL or other modern data platforms).
    • Manages delivery of all Microsoft products and supporting platforms including Microsoft365 (Office, Teams, SharePoint, Email, etc.), operating systems, Email archiving and data governance.• Designs, implements, monitors, and maintains secure and immutable data backup and storage repositories utilizing industry standard tools and techniques.
    • Manages Active Directory, Entra, and associated Azure resources to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal security standards.
    • Ensures effective patch and vulnerability management practices are in place.
    • Manages enterprise-wide telephony solutions including integrations within the call center, Microsoft Teams, and third-party providers.
    • Works within an established budget and timeline to ensure operational integrity and cost effective deployments. Produces KPI's to support operational integrity, performance, and cost effectiveness.
    • Drives initiatives to modernize data architecture and governance while maintaining best practices and security standards.
    • Manages internal credit union applications ensuring applications are up to date and meet identity requirements.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
    • Works closely with the Network and Cyber Security Manger to enforce compliance with all security standards focusing on a zero trust model.
    • Collaborates with Enterprise Applications teams to ensure seamless pipeline and system requirements are met and ensure smooth integration and deployment of new software and updates.
    • Develops, coaches, and mentors' internal staff for growth and alignment with Blue culture standards fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
  • Security & Compliance
    • Must comply with all applicable laws and regulations ensuring positive outcomes to all regulatory and supporting examinations.
    • Has a working knowledge of and supports all industry standards for data security and governance.
    • Regularly audits team activity to ensure proper separation of duty and adherence to guidelines set forth by regulators and management.
    • Implements, documents, monitors, and tests disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure operational integrity.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience directly managing Azure, AWS, or GCP environments utilizing common components such as compute, networking, storage and containerization technologies. Experience with common virtualization technologies and supporting ecosystems such as VMware, storage, and backup technologies. Experience administering M365 solutions including Teams, Intune, Azure AD, SharePoint and on premises Active Directory. Must have experience in scripting and automation. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) a plus. Customer-focused with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with ability to track KPIs and identify improvement opportunities. Problem-solving orientation with a passion for innovation, automation, and efficiency.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field a plus.

The ability to motivate or influence internal or external senior level professionals is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of influence and trust. Obtaining cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via frequently complex, senior level dialogues, as well as a professional level of written communication skills are essential to the position.

Physical Requirements
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
