This is a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer position at Vice President level, which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialist cyber expertise and creating solutions that protect the organization's systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

Role Description
Lead Cyber Security Engineer within the Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) Squad with the following responsibilities:
  • Influencing the technology strategy and architecture for critical cyber security controls,
  • Enhancing service delivery for data protection services including DLP
  • Managing multiple vendor relationships to maximize value
  • Facing off to local and international control owners and stakeholders
  • Delivering technical outcomes which reduce risk and enhance business enablement
  • Providing technical leadership on transformation and modernization projects

What you'll do in the role:
  • Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.
  • Develop and execute the cyber security engineering strategy in line with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track the effectiveness of cloud infrastructure.
  • Define and implement strategies to ensure high availability and performance of critical systems.
  • Develop and support continuous enhancement of complex processes, increasing the effectiveness of Firm controls.
  • Oversee the implementation of security programs and initiatives across the organization.
  • Drive the adoption of security best practices and ensure team compliance with security policies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and service providers.

Relevant Skills
Must Have:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Cyber Security Engineering space.
  • Cyber Security Risk Management: Strong cyber security governance fundamentals (e.g. CISSP). In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and incident response
  • Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders
  • Strategic Execution: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic security initiatives
  • Relevant Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong understanding of the unique security challenges facing financial services, or similarly regulated industries
