Job description

ND Defense LLC is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to support our engineering team. This role offers hands-on exposure to defense manufacturing processes, data analysis, and commercial tools that drive business development. The intern will contribute meaningfully to active projects while developing practical skills in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE NEED AND FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT MAY BE AVAILABLE AFTER THE INITIAL 3 MONTH INTERNSHIP PERIOD. Part Time available, can work around school schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Support

  • Assist engineering team members with design, documentation, and project coordination tasks
  • Support development and maintenance of engineering documentation, BOMs, and technical specifications
  • Participate in design reviews, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional project teams
  • Conduct research and compile data to inform engineering decisions


General & Administrative

  • Attend and contribute to team meetings; document action items and follow-ups as assigned
  • Support special projects at the direction of the engineering manager or senior leadership
  • Maintain organized records and project files in accordance with company standards
Qualifications
  • Recent graduate or Senior Year Student of a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HubSpot or other CRM platforms a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical content for non-technical audiences
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
