Title: Cyber Exercise Planner

Location: Fort Meade, Maryland

Clearance Requirements: TS/SCI with CI Poly

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $140,000-$175,000


The Opportunity

TeamWorx Security is seeking an exercise planner and instructor to join our growing team. As the Cyber Security Exercise Planner your creative ability will be pivotal in driving continuous improvement.


As the Cyber Security Exercise planner, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your strong research and analytical skills when developing realistic scenarios that challenge existing protocols, while ensuring all exercises meet relevant requirements.  You will mentor and guide your team, ensuring smooth execution and delivering valuable insights that enhance overall cybersecurity effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cyber exercises for combatant commands.
  • Create and update after-action reports, lessons learned and process improvement plans.
  • Incorporates recommendations and modifications to cybersecurity plans, processes, and protocols based on exercise outcomes.
  • Work with stakeholders and process owners to define and document required cybersecurity process evaluations.
  • Design custom, realistic, scenario-based cyber exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of cybersecurity training tools, processes and procedures.
  • Ensure alignment with cybersecurity goals by utilizing relevant policies, directives and doctrines to create exercise plans.


Minimum Required to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field
  • At least 9 years of demonstrated experience in researching, developing and designing exercises
  • Prior government contracting experience
  • Active TS/SCI with CI poly
