The instructor should be available to teach during the day and/or evenings as needed by the program. Must feel comfortable using learning management systems (Canvas) in the delivery of courses; Must be able to utilize and maintain lab equipment; Must be able to adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and interests of students; Must be able to administer and grade tests, evaluate students, prepare weekly classes and performance testing based on the course curriculum; Must demonstrate a working knowledge and appreciation of Cybersecurity and Digital forensics tools and practices used in industry; Must be able to explain the safe and proper use of tools and equipment used in industry; Must be able to deliver curriculum on campus.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a closely related field. Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), Exterro ACE, CompTIA A+, and CompTIA Security+, certifications. A minimum of three years of industry experience; ability to operate a computer to post syllabus, grades, and attendance.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Cybersecurity, or closely related field; Prior college-level teaching experience, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH), Chip off certifications and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) certifications.
