Description
The IT Systems & Cybersecurity manager will lead and manage our organization's technology infrastructure. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of our network, hardware, security systems, and compliance initiatives, while also driving AI adoption across the organization and leading strategic IT projects. The ideal candidate is a dependable, on-site team player who collaborates effectively across departments, in person and remotely, while serving as the go-to internal leader on cybersecurity, AI tools, and emerging technology. This person rolls up their sleeves, takes ownership, and is ready to jump in wherever needed. This is an in-person role, located in River Falls, WI.
Key Responsibilities:
AI Integration & Productivity Tools
  • Support the adoption and integration of AI tools (e.g., Claude, Plaud) across all companies
  • Serve as an internal resource for employee general questions on AI tools and provide guidance
Compliance
  • Lead PCI-DSS Compliance efforts from initial assessment through certification, coordinating with all necessary third-party vendors
  • Manage annual third-party penetration tests and weekly vulnerability scans, working with Development and IT Teams.
Hardware & Technology Management
  • Assist in set up of employee technology including desktops, laptops, and monitors
  • Manage HQ technology systems including conference room AV, audio equipment, and other shared technology resources
IT Project Management
  • Serve as project manager for strategic IT department initiatives, including:
Migration from local storage to cloud-based storage solutions Network closet equipment management: upgrades, replacements, and battery backup systems
Network Management
  • Oversee and manage the HQ network; identify and implement efficiency improvements in collaboration with other IT members
  • Monitor network performance and make proactive adjustments to maintain reliability and speed
Physical & Cyber Security
  • Manage and maintain security camera systems at company headquarters and other facilities
  • Own the organization's overall cybersecurity posture, including upkeep of servers, endpoints, etc.
  • Serve as the first responder and incident commander for cybersecurity events

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a professional and collaborative demeanor across all teams and departments
  • Communicate proactively with your manager regarding workload, roadblocks, or scheduling needs, providing timely progress updates and prioritizing time-sensitive issues
  • Respond promptly when issues arise, including outside of standard business hours when the situation requires it
  • Effectively prioritize competing demands, stay calm under pressure, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently, take initiative, and step up when challenges arise
  • Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and cross-departmental discussions as required
  • Continuously develop technical skills and stay current on emerging technologies and cybersecurity threats

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, including networking, hardware, and security systems with hands-on expertise in FortiGate/Fortinet or similar UTM platforms, managed switches, and structured cabling across multi-site environments
  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity frameworks and incident response
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PCI DSS compliance requirements and processes
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools and a willingness to assist others in their use
  • Experience supporting distributed sites remotely, including troubleshooting hardware at facilities without dedicated on-site IT staff; familiarity with access control/badge systems a plus
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to prioritize effectively, respond to time-sensitive situations, and maintain composure in high-pressure environments
