Job Summary:

The Cybersecurity Engineer will design and manage cybersecurity solutions, ensuring compliance with federal requirements and integrating security into the DevSecOps lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• design, implement, and manage cybersecurity solutions to ensure compliance with federal requirements
• integrate security into the DevSecOps lifecycle
• develop secure architectures
• implement NIST and federal security controls
• conduct risk and vulnerability assessments
• manage tools like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM solutions
• embed secure coding practices
• conduct security testing (static/dynamic analysis, code reviews, penetration testing)
• integrate automated scans into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• implement authentication, authorization, and data protection measures
• lead threat modeling
• monitor and analyze security events
• execute incident response procedures
• design Zero Trust architectures
• develop security policies
• perform audits
• maintain compliance documentation

Qualifications:
Required:

• At least 4 years of experience in DoD-compliant cybersecurity engineering. Proficient with security controls, assessments, and security incident response
• Must meet DoD 8140 requirements
• Active TS/SCI clearance
