Description
SAIC is seeking a qualified Sr. Cyber Engineer to support our customer in Midwest City, Oklahoma. This work is focused on the network architecture analysis and identification of USAF operational aircraft and Weapons Systems Cybersecurity vulnerabilities and solutions to ensure that developing and fielded capabilities effectively deter efforts to infiltrate or exploit friendly systems by an unauthorized nation or organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Support USAF System Program offices, Cybersecurity Program Leads, Program Managers, IPTs and Systems Engineers in identifying Critical Program Information, network architecture and message protocol vulnerabilities. Support developing and implementing network security designs for supported programs.
  • Complete Authority to Operate (ATO) Documentation Updates.
  • Coordinate and support completion of Interim Authority to Test Packages.
  • Complete and support completion of Cybersecurity Impact Identification Checklists.
  • Coordinate and support completion of Cyber Security Impact Evaluation Reports. Perform Cybersecurity analyses and participate in program reviews.
  • Provide support for developing, implementing, verifying and validating the implementation of Cybersecurity requirements for supported programs.
  • Participate in meetings, teleconferences, integration, verification and validation events as well as technical demonstrations.
  • Provide analysis and prepare documentation in support of Government statutes.
  • Periodic trips from Tinker AFB, OK to vendor and other government installations will be performed throughout the period of performance.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications (Minimum required for the position):
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Comp TIA Security + Certification.
  • Secret clearance.

Additional (Preferred) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
  • Network systems Architect/Engineer work experience.
  • Previous work with Air Force avionics systems.
