Job Description:

As a Cybersecurity Engineer at Parsons, you will play a key role in designing and implementing robust security solutions for mission-critical systems supporting the Department of War and United States Army.You'llbe part of a diverse team of 500 professionals working in Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, advancing Army modernization and national defense through a variety of initiatives spanning 5 years and a total value of more than $600 million. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, proactive inidentifyingand mitigating cyber risks, and committed toleveragingemerging technologies to protect vital infrastructure and support the warfighter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and evaluate cybersecurity solutions and architectures to protect information systems and networks.

  • Implement andmonitorsecurity controls, policies, and proceduresin accordance withorganizational and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into system designs and operational processes.

  • Support the development and execution of test plans, including the evaluation ofnew technologiesand security features.

  • Ensure compliance with DoD and industry cybersecurity standards and frameworks.

  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.

  • Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity engineering.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's toMaster'sdegree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science, or equivalent.

  • Must possess a minimum of 3-10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering.

  • Active TS/SCI is required.

PreferredQualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business software.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
