Job Description:

At Seminole Hard Rock Support Services, our cybersecurity program is growing in scale and complexity, and delivering initiatives which requires more than strong technical expertise alone. The Scrum Master serves as the delivery engine behind cybersecurity delivery teams, ensuring cybersecurity initiatives are planned, tracked, and executed with Agile rigor across a portfolio of initiatives spanning governance, engineering, operations, and related security capabilities.

Reporting to the Manager, Cybersecurity Strategy & Governance, this role serves as the servant leader for one or more cybersecurity delivery teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, protecting team focus, and driving continuous improvement in how work is planned, executed, and delivered. The ideal candidate is a practiced Scrum Master who brings Agile expertise, a coaching mindset, and the ability to operate effectively within the unique demands of cybersecurity program delivery.

Working closely with cybersecurity engineers, analysts, domain leads, and technology stakeholders, the Scrum Master helps create transparency, predictability, and accountability across cybersecurity initiatives while ensuring day-to-day delivery activities align with broader strategic objectives. Cybersecurity delivery includes both planned sprint-based initiatives and operational work originating through Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) workflows, requiring the ability to effectively apply Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery practices.

Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Ceremony Facilitation

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Facilitate backlog refinement in partnership with cybersecurity domain leads and initiative owners, helping ensure work items are clearly defined, appropriately sized, prioritized by accountable owners, and ready for delivery.
  • Track sprint health, delivery predictability, capacity utilization, throughput, and burndown metrics; proactively identify delivery risks, bottlenecks, and impediments before they impact commitments.
  • Guide teams in applying Agile principles effectively within a cybersecurity delivery environment.
  • Manage and visualize operational workstreams originating from IT service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow or Jira Service Management), incorporating Kanban practices to ensure interrupt-driven cybersecurity work is tracked, prioritized, and balanced alongside sprint commitments.
  • Help teams balance sprint commitments with operational responsibilities such as vulnerability remediation, security incidents, and engineering support.

Impediment Removal & Team Enablement

  • Identify and resolve impediments impacting delivery, coordinating across cybersecurity, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Protect the team from unplanned scope changes and external interruptions during sprint execution.
  • Coach team members on Agile practices, self-organization, and delivery accountability.
  • Foster a collaborative and psychologically safe environment where teams can surface challenges and continuously improve.

Portfolio Visibility & Reporting

  • Maintain real-time visibility into delivery progress across active sprints and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Provide concise sprint and program-level reporting for cybersecurity leadership.
  • Flag delivery risks, schedule impacts, and capacity constraints early, with recommended mitigation actions.
  • Maintain visibility into operational ticket flow and backlog health to help leadership understand workload distribution between project delivery and operational demand.

Continuous Improvement & Ways of Working (WoW)

  • Lead effective retrospectives that drive actionable improvements in team delivery practices.
  • Identify patterns across sprints and teams that indicate systemic delivery issues; bring data-driven recommendations to the Manager for process or structural changes.
  • Contribute to the team's ways of working documentation, onboarding materials, and delivery playbooks.
  • Stay current with Agile and delivery best practices, bringing relevant innovations and frameworks back to the team.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as a coordination point between cybersecurity teams, domain leads, and technology stakeholders
  • Support the Manager, Cybersecurity Strategy & Governance on sprint planning inputs, resource capacity, and initiative sequencing.
  • Communicate delivery status, priorities, and blockers clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Support intake and prioritization processes by helping translate cybersecurity initiative requests into well-structured backlog items.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, Agile Coach, or similar Agile delivery role supporting technical teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery approaches.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile project and work management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps Boards, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience working with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated success facilitating Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Proven ability to coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams with cross-functional dependencies.
  • Experience developing delivery metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
  • Experience communicating delivery status, risks, dependencies, and capacity considerations to leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and adapt to changing business demands.
  • Experience supporting technical, engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or IT-focused teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting cybersecurity programs, security operations, engineering, governance, risk, or compliance teams.
  • Experience working within large enterprise environments with multiple business units, locations, or operational teams.
  • Experience in gaming, hospitality, entertainment, or highly regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe.
  • Exposure to portfolio management, demand management, and strategic initiative planning.
  • Experience creating and improving Agile governance, delivery standards, or operational playbooks.

Certifications

  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)
