We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Global ICT to lead Weiler’s global Information and Communication Technology organization.

This role is responsible for defining and executing the company’s multi-year technology strategy, encompassing infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, data platforms, artificial intelligence, and broader digital transformation initiatives.

A key priority will be leading the implementation and optimization of the Infor M3 ERP platform while establishing scalable AI and data capabilities that support automation, advanced analytics, and operational efficiency across the organization.

This role will function as a player-coach, combining strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in designing data architecture, AI solutions, and enterprise system integrations while building and scaling the ICT function over time.

The Director of ICT will play a critical role in modernizing Weiler’s technology foundation, enabling data-driven decision-making, and embedding AI into core business processes to support operational performance, innovation, and global growth.

This leader will partner closely with executive and functional leaders across the business, translating complex technical concepts into practical business solutions and ensuring technology initiatives align with strategic priorities and deliver measurable impact.

Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and execute a multi-year ICT and digital transformation strategy aligned with company objectives and operational needs.
  • Establish technology governance, architecture standards, and best practices across infrastructure, applications, and data platforms.
  • Define and oversee the organization’s AI strategy, identifying high-impact use cases across manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions.
  • Identify and lead implementation of enterprise AI use cases across operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial functions to drive efficiency, automation, and improved decision-making.
  • Establish governance for AI usage, including policies related to data security, privacy, licensing, regulatory compliance, and responsible use of AI technologies.
  • Partner with HR and learning teams to develop AI fluency across the organization through role-based training and enablement.
  • Develop and manage the annual ICT budget and technology investment roadmap.

ERP Transformation

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of the Infor M3 global ERP system.
  • Ensure ERP capabilities align with operational processes across manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions.
  • Oversee system integration between ERP, analytics platforms, and other enterprise applications.
  • Work cross-functionally with business leaders to improve business processes enabled by ERP capabilities.

Infrastructure, Cybersecurity & Enterprise Systems

  • Direct global ICT operations, including network architecture, infrastructure, cloud environments, and cybersecurity.
  • Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of enterprise systems, networks, servers, and data storage platforms.
  • Establish cybersecurity policies, controls, and monitoring processes to protect company systems and sensitive data.
  • Lead cybersecurity testing, audits, and compliance efforts to mitigate evolving threats and risks.

Data Architecture & AI Enablement

  • Define and design the company’s enterprise data architecture and analytics platforms, ensuring the foundation supports scalable AI, analytics, and automation capabilities.
  • Design and oversee data integration frameworks that enable seamless movement of data across enterprise systems.
  • Build and scale AI and machine learning capabilities that support automation, operational insights, and advanced decision-making.
  • Establish standards for data governance, accessibility, and lifecycle management.

 Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a global ICT team, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and AI capabilities.
  • Build critical capabilities in data engineering, AI/ML, and enterprise systems as the organization scales.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure technology initiatives align with business priorities.
  • Act as a bridge between technical solutions and strategic business objectives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Technical Expertise

  • Strong understanding of modern data architectures, cloud platforms, and AI ecosystems
  • Experience designing or working with Python/SQL-based data and AI environments
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Microsoft Fabric
  • Familiarity with modern data stack technologies such as dbt, Airflow, Airbyte, Fivetran, or similar tools
  • Experience implementing large-scale ERP systems such as Infor M3, SAP, or JD Edwards

 Preferred Experience

  • Experience in global, multi-site manufacturing environments
  • Experience building or scaling AI capabilities within an enterprise
  • Experience leading technology transformation initiatives

 Education and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required
  • MBA or advanced technical degree preferred

Experience

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership, AI/ML, data platforms, or digital transformation
  • Minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale technology and AI initiatives
  • Experience leading ERP implementations in complex manufacturing environments
  • Experience managing global IT infrastructure and enterprise systems
