Job description


This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Data Management Systems Engineer on our team you will evaluate existing IT related security data, document data types currently being monitored, document gaps in security data, develop and apply best practices to discover and assess semantic and syntactic information contained in data structures and data objects, develop measures of syntactic and semantic interoperability that support governing bodies making architectural and implementation decisions, prototype and consider several algorithms and decide upon final model based on established outcomes, and generate reports that summarize analysis of data representations and data to provide data-driven insights to customers. Experience with computer networks and knowledge of their security requirements would be especially helpful in this role.
Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 10 years of systems engineering experience. A Master's degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 14 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
