Job Title: Mapping Data Analyst

Location: San Francisco, CA(Onsite)

Type: Contract

Rate: $50/hr on W2

Job Summary – Mapping Data Analyst

  • Monitor and improve map data coverage, accuracy, and overall data quality by identifying issues and driving corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, metrics reports, and automated monitoring systems to track map data health.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on data quality issues and proactively resolve problems before they impact downstream products.
  • Analyze Mapping, Driver, Rider, and Platform product data to uncover insights and support feature prioritization.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX Researchers to translate data insights into product improvements.
  • Lead recurring analytics reviews, support weekly program updates, quarterly KPI planning, and ad-hoc investigations.
  • Analyze end-to-end map data operations including data collection, coverage, traversal, device/asset management, cost, and operational efficiency.
  • Build scalable analytical frameworks and reusable reporting processes to convert complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Manage multiple analytical projects, define measurement plans, align stakeholders on success metrics, and communicate progress to leadership.
  • Utilize advanced SQL, data visualization tools, and modern analytics platforms such as Mode, Hex, or AI-powered data tools to deliver meaningful insights
