Title: Administrative Assistants
Location: Geneseo, NY 14454
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Job Description:
Provides clerical support in the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and reports to the AVP Finance/Business Dev/Director SBDC Paul J Morrell. The purpose of the position is to support the routine activities of the SBDC office and, in particular, office reception, client phone call scheduling, data entry, file maintenance, qtly reporting, customer relationship mgmt (CRM) tools and general office duties in order to promote the effective and efficient flow of work in the office SBDC is a State organization, started in 1994, reporting into Client Academic Affairs. This position reports to the Director SBDC/AVP Finance and Administration.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED, strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; proficiency with standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers, printers) and with some audiovisual equipment; ability to work with diverse individuals and groups; commitment to customer service; able to work responsibly with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality Positive cheerful attitude and the ability working with the general community as well as inter-acting with various Higher
Education office and academic staffs. Demonstrate the ability to learn new and additional tools that promotes small businesses.
