Marketing Director
Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer
Location: Onsite, Scottsdale, AZ
Position Summary
Lumifi is seeking a results-oriented Marketing Director who is equally comfortable developing marketing strategy and rolling up their sleeves to execute. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building marketing programs, optimizing demand generation, and using data to drive business decisions.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong operational discipline who thrives in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment. This individual will lead the company's marketing strategy while personally executing campaigns within HubSpot, managing reporting and analytics, and partnering closely with Sales to generate measurable pipeline growth.
The Marketing Director will be responsible for brand awareness, demand generation, digital marketing, content strategy, marketing operations, events, and partner marketing while ensuring every initiative is measured against clear business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute the company's integrated marketing strategy aligned with revenue and growth objectives.
  • Build quarterly and annual marketing plans, campaigns, and budgets.
  • Serve as the marketing leader and trusted advisor to executive leadership.
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to align marketing initiatives with pipeline generation and revenue goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities, competitive positioning, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Manage outside agencies, contractors, freelancers, and technology vendors as needed.
  • Serve as the primary administrator (hands-on) and power user of HubSpot, including campaign creation, workflows and automation, landing pages, forms, email campaigns, lead scoring, CRM management, segmentation, reporting dashboards.
  • Continuously improve marketing automation processes and customer journeys.
  • Ensure data quality and marketing operational excellence.
  • Lead and mentor marketing team members while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns including email marketing, digital advertisement, webinars, events, partner marketing, content marketing, social media, ABM
  • Optimize lead generation programs to improve Marketing Qualified Leads, Sales Qualified Leads, and pipeline contribution.
  • Collaborate with Sales on lead nurturing, campaign follow-up, and conversion optimization.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop executive-level dashboards and reports demonstrating marketing performance.
  • Measure and report on key metrics including, website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates, campaign ROI, CAC, marketing sourced pipeline, marketing influenced revenue, return on marketing investment.
  • Use data to optimize campaigns and improve marketing effectiveness.
Brand & Content
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate cybersecurity solutions into compelling customer messaging.
  • Maintain and strengthen Lumifi's brand positioning within the cybersecurity market.
Events & Industry Presence
  • Support and collaborate on company participation in conferences, shows, webinars, and customer events.
  • Coordinate event strategy from planning through post-event lead follow-up.
  • Maximize ROI from sponsorships and industry engagements.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience.
  • 3+ years in a marketing leadership or management role.
  • Experience marketing cybersecurity, SaaS, managed services, IT services, or enterprise technology solutions.
  • Expert-level experience with HubSpot
  • Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies.
  • Demonstrated success creating and executing demand generation programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience developing executive dashboards and marketing performance reports.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and measuring ROI.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter who enjoys both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
Preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce-HubSpot integrations.
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4, SEMrush, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or similar digital marketing platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, paid media, and marketing automation best practices.
  • Experience marketing MSSP, MDR, SIEM, SOC, cloud security, or cybersecurity consulting services; strongly preferred.
