### Consulting Manager - CybersecurityPublicFull-time40 h/weekGermanyOnsiteStart date: As soon as possibleEnd date: No end dateYearly gross base salary105000 - 129999 EUR### Job DescriptionAbout the roleA specialized enterprise financial services advisory firm is seeking a Consulting Manager — Cybersecurity to help shape the future of financial services across Strategic Transformations, AI/Data Analytics, and Cybersecurity.What you will do* Create impact for clients: Identify information sources, gather and interpret data, perform analyses, and present findings to internal teams and client stakeholders. Lead workstreams and projects such as IT integrations, strategic transformations, and CIO/CSO reorganizations.* Grow & lead teams: Develop analytical, interpersonal, critical thinking, technology, and business management skills from day one. Lead and mentor project teams and provide guidance to consultants.* Act as a trusted cybersecurity professional: Apply deep cybersecurity expertise to deliver practical, high-value solutions across engagements.* Drive commercial growth: Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell services to existing clients and build strong client relationships to understand needs and propose tailored solutions.* Develop intellectual property: Own and advance IP components (for example, SOC and IAM) within the Cyber Practice and keep them aligned with client projects and market developments. Own at least one external-facing deliverable per quarter (e.g., article, event, or digital content). Support organizational initiatives, including process and tool improvements.Your profile* Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant full-time experience in cybersecurity consulting or B2B cybersecurity, with experience contributing to large transformation projects in the financial/insurance sector.* Education: Degree in an IT or analytical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering) or equivalent background. Candidates with diverse or non-traditional career paths are welcome.* Certifications & knowledge: Hold relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, ISO 27001, CISSP, CCSP, CISM). Familiarity with financial regulator guidance and standards is a plus.* entrepreneurial mindset: Proactive, ownership-oriented, comfortable making decisions and driving initiatives forward.* Analytical & communication skills: Strong data-driven analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
