Junior Cybersecurity Engineer

Join TÜV SÜD and launch your cybersecurity career with a team dedicated to protecting connected products and systems across industries including IoT, industrial automation, and medical devices. In this entry-level role, you will gain hands‑on experience in cybersecurity testing, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security evaluations while working alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals.

Your Tasks

Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, fuzz testing, and security reviews on connected products and systems.

Support cybersecurity evaluations for IoT, industrial automation, and medical device technologies.

Assist clients with cybersecurity certification preparation through workshops, training sessions, and pre‑compliance activities.

Conduct security testing across applications, networks, wireless environments, and embedded systems to identify vulnerabilities and potential exploitation paths.

The anticipated annual base pay range for this full‑time position is $65,000-$75,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target, subject to eligibility and other requirements. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to employees, including a 401(k) plan with employer match, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and 2 weeks for other parents, health plans (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance and disability, and generous paid time off.
