This position provides advanced, hands-on field support across multiple sites, ensuring reliable network performance, efficient troubleshooting, and the maintenance of critical infrastructure. The estimated salary range for this role is $90,000 per year. Final compensation is dependent upon the candidate's skills, qualifications, contract-specific guidelines, and geographic location. TQI is committed to pay equity and compliance with the Virginia Pay Transparency Act; we do not request or consider prior salary history when making employment offers. Responsibilities: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot secure Layer 2/3 network infrastructure (Cisco/Palo Alto) across classified and unclassified DoW networks to ensure continuous, secure mission operations. Maintain, secure, and optimize Windows/Unix servers, storage, and virtualization environments for PHNSY & IMF in strict compliance with Department of War (DoW) policies. Key Responsibilities: * Administer, troubleshoot, and repair Windows/Unix servers and VMware virtualization infrastructure. * Execute daily system monitoring, backup/recovery procedures, and enterprise account management. * Ensure DoW cybersecurity compliance through active vulnerability management (e.g., ACAS), patching, and STIG implementation. Qualifications: * Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance. * Cyber Workforce (CWF): Must meet qualification requirements outlined in DoW Directive 8140.01. * Experience: Journeyman-level experience (typically 3-5 years) in Windows and/or Unix administration, virtualization, enterprise storage (NAS), and security remediation. This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Candidates must be eligible for a background investigation.
