Cybersecurity Intern

The IT & Cybersecurity (ITC) team is seeking an intern to support cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) activities. This role will contribute to ISO 27001 control maintenance, audit preparation, and security awareness initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in real-world security operations. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams, review security documentation, and assist in monitoring the organization's security posture.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Support ISO 27001 compliance efforts and audit preparation activities.
  • Assist the security awareness program and coordinate departmental security initiatives.
  • Support the review of system logs, access control lists, and vulnerability remediation reports.
  • Support ITC in maintaining ISO 27001 controls and compliance evidence.
  • Assist in internal audit preparation and document review.
  • Participate in cybersecurity awareness and training content development.
  • Conduct light research on emerging standards, security frameworks, and risk management tools.
  • Support the review of system logs, access lists, and vulnerability remediation reports.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Improve readiness for internal and external ISO 27001 audits.
  • Increase engagement and consistency in security awareness activities across the department.
  • Enhance visibility into security posture through accurate review and remediation tracking.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
