About the Role
The Client's Office of Information Technology seeks a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to support the Information Security Team. This position involves managing security tools, monitoring threats, ensuring compliance, and supporting audit and risk assessment activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, CrowdStrike, Tenable).
  • Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats in real-time.
  • Configure and manage endpoint protection via CrowdStrike.
  • Analyze security data to support investigations and threat intelligence efforts.
  • Conduct internal risk and compliance assessments.
  • Coordinate with IT and business units to ensure security best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain incident response plans, POA&Ms, and audit documentation.
  • Support internal/external audits and ensure evidence production.
  • Assist in security awareness training and metrics reporting.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, InfoSec, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience; 1+ year in Information Security/Assurance.
  • Strong expertise in Windows/Linux system administration, vulnerability scanning, and endpoint protection.

Preferred Certifications (must have any 1 at least)
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)

Additional Requirements
