Job Summary:
ARES Corporation is seeking an experienced senior cybersecurity analyst to join their security control assessment and risk assessment teams supporting the Nation’s ballistic missile defense program. The role involves applying RMF concepts and conducting various assessments to enhance cybersecurity in complex defense systems.
Responsibilities:
• apply Risk Management Framework (RMF) concepts to perform research, analysis, and data gathering activities
• conduct compliance, threat, vulnerability, and capability maturity assessments
• apply critical thinking
• conduct gap analyses
• develop cybersecurity reports for the improvement of cybersecurity in large, complex defense systems
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Senior Cybersecurity certification: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH
• Active DoD Clearance Required
• May require up to 10% travel
• Proficient in technical services and analysis with knowledge of cybersecurity standards, principles, practices, and processes.
• Experience supporting key cybersecurity activities including vulnerability assessments, control development, security plan documentation, penetration testing, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Nessus, Nmap, ACAS, and others.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with eMASS
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
