Job description

Our client is seeking a Cyber Operations Analyst to support a federal contract in Ft. Meade, MD.Desired Experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting a Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC), Security Operations Center (SOC), Network Operations Center (NOC), Cyber Fusion Center, or similar operational environment.
  • Experience performing cyberspace analysis, incident analysis, threat analysis, or cyber intelligence activities.
  • Experience collaborating with federal cyber centers, security teams, or incident response personnel to identify root causes and assess cybersecurity incidents.
  • Experience contributing to cyberspace situational awareness products, reports, dashboards, or operational briefings.
  • General understanding of cybersecurity concepts, cyber threats, vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and defensive cyber operations.
  • Experience monitoring, assessing, and reporting on cyberspace operations, capabilities, risks, and vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to analyze incomplete or conflicting information and develop recommendations to support operational decision-making.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, threat intelligence, incident response processes, and security monitoring tools.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly

  • GIAC Cyber Defense certifications
  • Other DoD 8140-compliant cybersecurity certifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
