  • Project management and delivery, as required by the scope of specific client engagements, includes Assessment/Strategythrough tothe Design, Implementation and Optimization of AI Security governance,processesand technology.

  • Engagement management, including project planning, budget and resource management, and the successful completion of engagement work streams.

  • Business development activities throughout the entire opportunity lifecycle, including lead generation, opportunity tracking, pre-sales presentations, technical demos, client & engagement risk assessments, bid management, proposalwritingand contract management.

  • Working with other Cybersecurity & Privacy teams on non-AI Security projects asrequired.

  • Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy focused on AI security and data protection to mitigate risks and enhance security posture. Drive initiatives to integrate security practices into AI models and data usage across the organization.

  • Innovation & Research:Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in AI security and data protection, contributing to thought leadership and innovation within PwC. Engage with external stakeholders, such as industry consortia and research organizations, to enhance service offerings.

  • Risk Management:Conduct risk assessments toidentifyvulnerabilities in AI systems and data management practices. Design and implement plans to address cybersecurity risks related to AI applications and data processing.

  • Policy Development:Establishpolicies and standards for AI security and data operations. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and best practices in cyber resilience.

  • Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create awareness of cybersecurity risks and instill a security-minded culture.

  • Threat Intelligence & Response:Monitoremerging AI threats and vulnerabilities, providing guidanceon incidentresponse and remediation. Coordinate with the security incident response

The salary range for this position is $116,100 - $166,100. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
