About the Role

Blue Sky Innovators is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven professional to support the Principal Director for Integrated Sensing and Cyber (PD IS&C). This role bridges the gap between cutting-edge science and technology (S&T) and operational cyber mission execution, with a strong emphasis on understanding U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical and operational advisor to PD IS&C on cyber-related initiatives.
  • Translate operational cyber needs into S&T priorities and vice versa.
  • Engage with USCYBERCOM, Joint Force Headquarters, and other DoD stakeholders to align R&E efforts with operational requirements.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies in cyber, sensing, and electronic warfare for applicability to current and future operations.
  • Support the development of strategic roadmaps and technical assessments.
  • Represent PD IS&C in interagency and DoD forums related to cyber operations and technology integration.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of USCYBERCOM missions, structure, and operational planning processes.
  • Strong background in cyber operations, or integrated sensing.
  • Experience working at the intersection of S&T and operational communities.
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical information for senior decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • 15+ years relevant experience
  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelors Degree required; STEM Masters Preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience supporting or working within USCYBERCOM or a Combatant Command.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition and R&E processes.
