Job description

Pro-Cise, Inc. is seeking an experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) / Quality Technician to join our team. This hands-on, shop-based role is critical to ensuring our fabricated weldments and machined components meet AWS D1.1 standards, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements.

What You’ll Do:

Perform visual weld inspections (VT) and verify compliance with AWS D1.1

Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and GD&T requirements

Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections

Prepare inspection reports and quality documentation

Coordinate NDT testing and support quality audits

Identify and resolve non-conformances

Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain high standards

What We’re Looking For:

Active AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification (required)

3–5+ years of quality inspection experience in fabrication or machining

Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1 standards

Experience reading blueprints and applying GD&T

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
