Kissimmee Youth Academy in Kissimmee, Florida, is a secure Youth Academy providing trauma-informed residential care for males ages 14 to 18. The program focuses on mental health and substance abuse treatment, offering a structured environment that combines clinical therapy, education, and enrichment activities. Youth receive individualized treatment based on their needs, participating in individual, group, and family therapy, as well as life skills training, restorative justice practices, victim impact awareness, and pre-vocational preparation. Food Service Worker Responsibilities
  • Prepare all food items according to daily menus and recipes while maintaining quality, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Review menus and production sheets for substitutions and preparation needs
  • Cook soups, entrees, vegetables, and desserts as assigned
  • Set up service areas and pass-through windows as needed
  • Prepare baked goods or desserts for the following day
  • Properly store and date leftovers to meet health and safety guidelines
