Practice Manager – Veterinary Hospital, Pathway Vet Alliance, Austin, TX. This role ensures a positive culture, operational efficiency, and client/employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

The Practice Manager oversees business activities including:

  • Hiring and training hospital staff
  • Preparing and managing budgets with leadership and finance
  • Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators
  • Setting fees and maintaining inventory and inventory control systems
  • Managing hospital software and implementing safety and security procedures
  • Problem solving to improve client service and employee engagement
Qualifications
  • 3+ years hospital management or supervisory experience in Veterinary Medicine
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent business experience
  • CVPM encouraged to apply
  • Sound personal judgment in decision‑making
  • Leadership, management, and coaching skills at all levels
  • Staff management competency: hiring, coaching, disciplinary action
  • Empathy toward clients and compassion for animals
