The Sales Engineering Intern will provide support for the Sales Engineering team across a range of initiatives in support of Cvent sales activities. This person is a team-focused technical student who will provide support and assistance to the Sales Engineering team The ideal candidate will have a technical background and strong business sense as well as the ability to clearly communicate and present to stakeholders. This person will be tasked with learning and gaining expertise in the Tray.ai platform for building integrations purchased by Cvent clients via the Cvent Integration Hub.
In This Role, You Will:
  • Work on Technical RFP topics and provide quality control to other teams responses
  • Conduct detailed customer requirements, discovery, and analysis
  • Refine and research technical requirements for assigned projects
  • Propose and design technical solutions which include creative prototypes or proofs of concept
  • Work closely with customers in the design and implementation/integration of Cvent products
  • Promote new and innovative approaches to addressing business challenges and problems
  • Maintain a broad level of knowledge of industry trends and how Cvent products add value
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned
  • Understand Cvent's API services
  • Learn the Tray.ai Integration Platform
  • Implement client integration projects based on pre-defined Statements of work

Here's What You Need:
  • Active enrollment in a Bachelor's program a technical area of study
  • Graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027
  • Experience working with AIs, LLMs and the ability to leverage AI to increase business productivity
  • Strong technical and analytical skills or aptitude
  • Excellent oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of internal and external audiences
  • Exceptional written communication. This role requires an ability to understand and articulate both the business benefits (value proposition) and technical advantages of Cvent products and solutions.
  • Basic knowledge about SaaS applications
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplined manner
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs, Data Structures, SQL, and the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Understanding of APIs, Webhooks, and RESTful principles is desired
  • Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks
  • Ability to provide constructive criticism while maintaining a positive relationship with other team members
  • Zealous attention to detail
