About the Role
We have an opening for a Senior Principal Design Manager on our Event Program Design team. The Event Program Design team is comprised of subject matter experts supporting clients in moving their processes and Total Event Programs into Cvent using an analytical approach. In this role you will be a critical member of the sales lifecycle, conducting in-depth analysis of the client's needs and identifying the correct solution moving forward that will meet their goals and objectives. Additionally, you will identify expansion opportunities within client accounts and develop strategies to ensure adoption. You will be required to demonstrate a high level of non-technical analysis, effectively be able to communicate a proposed solution and foster and maintain positive relationships with Sales and Client Services departments.
In This Role, You Will:
  • Provide value-based support analysis for our clients that are tied to opportunities, such as contract renewals, cross-sells, and up-sells (such as adding additional apps to clients' packages), etc.
  • Perform evaluation on the client's current total event program and design a program using Cvent technology and services that align with their business goals.
  • Generates data-driven insights through partnership and collaboration with Event Program Design team members and Sales counterparts.
  • Work directly with Event Program Design leadership to develop reports and dashboards to report on the impact and opportunities for team adoption.
  • Leverage Cvent Product knowledge across disciplines to include relationship management, consultative selling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, operation/process flow, and product function
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization to support internal projects and support functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Here's What You Need:
  • Ability to multi-task and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Subject matter expertise in the Cvent Platform- preferably with a focus on meeting request form, workflow, budget management, Cvent Supplier Network, etc...
  • High level of analytical ability with expertise in reporting
  • Experience selling or managing accounts in SaaS/technology/hospitality space a plus
  • Experience supporting or managing accounts in SaaS/technology/hospitality space a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of computer literacy is a must
  • Ability to work with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce.com or similar contact management software
