Job description

Aahs Signs & Graphics has been serving businesses since 1991. We are a well-established, full-service wide-format printing and sign company with an experienced production team and a modern, well-equipped facility.

Our capabilities include wide-format UV printing, digital cutting, routing, laminating, mounting, vinyl graphics, signs, banners, displays, retail graphics, vehicle graphics, and installation.

We have worked with many well-known companies and organizations over the years, including McDonald’s, Del Taco, the Los Angeles Dodgers, Univision, Kroger, The Getty, Hilton Hotels, and many others.


The Position

We are looking for an experienced Wide Format Production Specialist to join our production team.

Our highest priority is finding someone with hands-on experience operating a Zünd digital cutting system.

The ideal candidate is not limited to one machine or one area of production. We are looking for a well-rounded sign and graphics production professional who is comfortable working throughout the shop and can help wherever needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operate a Zünd digital cutter – this is the #1 priority for this position
  • Set up files, tools, materials, and cutting/routing processes on the Zünd
  • Operate wide-format UV printers, including EFI VUTEk and Durst equipment
  • Operate a Colex flatbed cutter/router
  • Perform laminating and mounting of printed graphics
  • Cut, weed, mask, and apply vinyl graphics
  • Produce signs, banners, posters, displays, decals, retail graphics, and other wide-format products
  • Perform general finishing, trimming, assembly, and production work
  • Assist with vinyl and sign installations as needed
  • Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area
  • Work with the production team to complete jobs accurately and on schedule


What We Are Looking For

  • Previous hands-on Zünd cutter experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience working in a wide-format printing, sign, or graphics production environment
  • Experience operating wide-format printers
  • Experience with digital flatbed cutting and routing equipment
  • Knowledge of laminating, mounting, vinyl application, and finishing
  • Sign and vinyl installation experience is a plus
  • Ability to read work orders and follow production specifications
  • Good mechanical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a production team
  • Dependable, organized, and willing to help in different areas of production when needed

We are especially interested in candidates who are versatile and experienced across multiple areas of sign and graphics production, rather than someone who has experience with only one piece of equipment.


Schedule & Compensation


Job Type: Full-time
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
Work Location: In person – Commerce, CA 90040
Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience
