Job description

Summary
We're looking for a creative and resourceful Video Storyteller to help bring our brand to life across platforms for an upcoming product launch. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the current tech ecosystem and excited to shoot & edit the stories and content that will help our brand & product resonate with users.
This is an ideal role for someone who understands what makes social content engaging and can turn ideas into shareable videos. If you have a great eye for pacing and tone, and know how to make people stop scrolling, we'd love to work with you.
You'll work closely with our team to craft short-form content that feels fresh, funny, and authentic to our brand.
This role is available for an initial project period of 30+ hours per week for 2-5 weeks. Open to remote and SF-based candidates. Following a successful project, an ongoing part-time or full-time position may be considered depending on candidate location.
What You'll Do
• Develop & edit scroll-stopping, shareable videos for upcoming product launches
• Create short-form video content with an eye for distribution across platforms (consider X, LinkedIn, YouTube, website, etc.)
• Turn existing footage, audio clips, or raw assets into engaging, story-driven content
• Collaborate with our team to brainstorm and experiment with new creative ideas
• Add captions, text overlays, memes, or graphics to videos as needed
• Optimize videos for platform-specific formats and trends
• Manage projects with quick turnaround times
• Optionally: contribute to social posting, scheduling, and engagement if that's your interest
You Are
• A creative storyteller who knows how to create a scroll-stopping narrative for products
• Fluent in video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)
• Comfortable working quickly and iterating often
• Detail-oriented, with a good visual eye for framing, pacing, and flow
• A proactive communicator who enjoys collaborating in a small, fast-moving environment and wearing many hats
• Excited about experimenting and learning-especially in a role that blends creativity and social media strategy
Compensation and Benefits
• Lunch provided daily (if in person)
• Hours: 30+ for 2-5 weeks for initial project scope
• Location: Onsite or hybrid (open to remote depending on candidate)
How to Apply
All submissions are reviewed by a person, so we encourage you to include notes on why you're interested in working with us. If you have any other work that you can showcase (open source code, side projects, etc.), certainly include it! We know that talent comes from many backgrounds, and we aim to build a team with diverse skill sets that spike strongly in different areas.
