POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision, the Operator performs a variety of skilled tasks involved involving the operations processes; strong understanding of equipment and performs related work as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
โ€ขEmbraces the 1 T.E.A.M. culture
โ€ขWear all proper protective equipment as required in work and in accordance with Safety Policy and OSHA standards.
โ€ขMaintain a safe and healthful work environment by practicing safe work habits, good housekeeping procedures and adhering to safety guidelines.
โ€ขFull understanding of how to run multiple machines in entirety for operations
โ€ขResponsible for the review of work orders
โ€ขMaintain production and quality standards by measuring and verifying before during and after processing on multiple machines
โ€ขAdjust machine setup to correct defects as needed throughout process on multiple machines. (if applicable)
โ€ขCommunicate non-compliance production to supervisor and/or shift lead
โ€ขComplete production documentation
โ€ขAssist maintenance to troubleshoot malfunctions or complete preventative maintenance as necessary
โ€ขRemove scrap from machine and empty hopper as needed
โ€ขClean machine and surrounding area
โ€ขPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

โ€ขAbility to use computers, read tape measures, micrometers and calipers
โ€ขAbility to perform complete set-up and operational tasks of slitting to ensure compliance with customer specifications and production requirements

โ€ขAble to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
โ€ขAbility to work outside normal business hours/days as needed
โ€ขAble to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the company
โ€ขAble to read and comprehend simple work instructions, work orders, short correspondence and memos written in English
