POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision, the Operator performs a variety of skilled tasks involved involving the operations processes; strong understanding of equipment and performs related work as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
•Embraces the 1 T.E.A.M. culture
•Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work and in accordance with Safety Policy and OSHA standards.
•Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by practicing safe work habits, good housekeeping procedures and adhering to safety guidelines.
•Full understanding of how to run multiple machines in entirety for operations
•Responsible for the review of work orders
•Maintain production and quality standards by measuring and verifying before during and after processing on multiple machines
•Adjust machine setup to correct defects as needed throughout process on multiple machines. (if applicable)
•Communicate non-compliance production to supervisor and/or shift lead
•Complete production documentation
•Assist maintenance to troubleshoot malfunctions or complete preventative maintenance as necessary
•Remove scrap from machine and empty hopper as needed
•Clean machine and surrounding area
•Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•N/A
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
•Ability to use computers, read tape measures, micrometers and calipers
•Ability to perform complete set-up and operational tasks of slitting to ensure compliance with customer specifications and production requirements
•Dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
•Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
•Ability to work outside normal business hours/days as needed
•Able to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the company
•Able to read and comprehend simple work instructions, work orders, short correspondence and memos written in English
•Able to write simple correspondence in English
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
•High school diploma or equivalent, required
•Industry knowledge and experience, a plus
