Job Title: Customs Analyst Location: 1915 Hurd Drive, Irving, TX 75038 Duration: 6 Months Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Pay Range: $30 - $35 per hour (W2) We are seeking a "Customs Analyst" to join one of our leading healthcare clients. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs Analyst to support auditing and review of U.S. import documentation and Customs declarations. This role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, identifying discrepancies, conducting root cause analysis, and supporting compliance with import regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have experience in U.S. import operations, brokerage, or freight forwarding, along with strong analytical and auditing skills. Key Responsibilities
  • Audit U.S. import documents and Customs declarations for accuracy and data integrity
  • Research and validate import-related information to ensure complete documentation
  • Identify, document, and report errors, discrepancies, and compliance issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
  • Escalate findings and concerns to management as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial and import information
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and import regulation
Required Experience & Skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in U.S. imports, customs brokerage, or freight forwarding
  • Experience with U.S. import clearance processing preferred
  • Knowledge of import terminology including:
    • USHTS
    • COO
    • USDA
    • FDA
    • TSCA
  • Familiarity with import documentation including:
    • Bill of Lading (BOL)
    • HAWB / MAWB
    • Commercial Invoice
    • Arrival Notices
    • Packing Lists

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior auditing experience related to U.S. imports
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Experience working with medical devices, equipment, or regulated products
