What is a customs analyst?

A Customs Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and customs laws. They review import and export documentation, classify goods according to tariff codes, and ensure shipments meet regulatory requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of trade laws, and the ability to collaborate with logistics teams and government agencies.

What are some typical challenges a customs analyst might face on the job?

As a Customs Analyst, one common challenge is navigating frequent changes in international trade regulations and ensuring complete compliance for your organization.
