Job description

The Lonestar Truck Group and TAG Truck Centers have built an excellent reputation within the heavy truck industry. Much of the success can be attributed to our employees who share a common vision: A hassle free, value added transaction for every customer every time.
The Service Advisor is responsible for communicating with the customer and the shop foreman to ensure repair is completed as wanted by the customer. The Service Advisor position is a key position as it should be the final contact for the customer and the customer should be satisfied with the service provided.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Communicate with the customer with the intention of being able to repeat the customer's request to the shop foreman both verbally and in written form.
  • Ensure communication is aligned with Elite Support standards.
  • Completes transaction by obtaining payment when repairs have been completed.
  • Other duties may be assigned as listed job duties are not comprehensive and should not be construed as such. This job description is subject to change.

Preferred Education:
  • One-year certificate from a college or technical school.

Preferred Experience:
  • Six months to one year related experience and/ or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to type 25 words per minute
  • Ability to drive a tractor
  • Clean MVR Record
