Patient Service Representative (Part-Time, 20–24 Hours per Week)

Position Summary

The Patient Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and healthcare providers. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience while managing scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and administrative support functions. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and committed to delivering outstanding patient care.

Schedule

  • Part-time: 20–24 hours per week
  • Flexible weekday schedule as assigned
  • Occasional coverage for staff absences may be required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
  • Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, and eligibility.
  • Collect copayments, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
