Customer Service / Operations Associate (Part-Time)
Location: Torrance, CA 90502
Schedule: Approximately 29 hours/week (Core hours: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, flexible)
Compensation: $20-21/hour
Employment Type: Part-Time Temp (Potential Full-Time opportunity based on performance after approximately 6 months)
About the Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Customer Service / Operations Associate to support our growing business and newly acquired client accounts. This role plays a key part in ensuring order accuracy and maintaining smooth communication between the office and warehouse teams.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment, pays close attention to detail, and is proactive in identifying and preventing errors.
Responsibilities

  • Perform double and triple checks on picked orders to ensure accuracy
  • Compare order information against picked products and shipping documents
  • Support quality control and inspection processes
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with newly launched client accounts and support existing accounts as needed
  • Provide operational support for special projects and additional accounts
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks using Excel and Word
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
Required
  • Previous inventory control, warehouse, logistics, or operations experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with warehouse and office teams
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
  • Bilingual Japanese and English
  • Experience in customer service or operations support
  • Experience working with inventory or fulfillment processes
