DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a friendly and professional Deli Associate to join our team. The Deli Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, stocking and pricing deli/bakery products, taking orders, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Deli Associate Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet customers and answer questions regarding deli products
  • Prepare deli sandwiches according to customer requests
  • Stock shelves with deli & bakery products
  • Price and label deli/bakery products
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Ensure that all deli products are stored and handled in accordance with food safety guidelines
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Learn some baking skills to help out during slower moments of shift

Deli Associate Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous deli or food service experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety guidelines
