Job description

Our client is searching for a Customer Support/Sales Assistant for their medical instrument company located in Southwest Houston (Meyerland area).  The ideal candidate would be a well-organized and detail oriented individual with strong communication skills who is able to work well in a team dynamic.  The salary range for this position is $45,000-$50,000 per year.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Professional communication and responding to inquiries from customers, sales representatives, and distributors.
  • Provide sales support to sales representatives and distributors.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving of products (FedEx, UPS, DHL).
  • Assist with Quality Assurance to make sure products meet applicable quality standards.
  • Perform accurate data entry of orders, inspections, shipments, and inventory transactions into ERP system.
  • Work in a team dynamic along with customer service, logistics, quality, and sales departments.
  • Ability to accept and implement coaching and feedback in order to achieve individual and team performance goals.

Requirements:

  • Some college preferred.
  • Previous customer service and/or sales assistant experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent communicator (verbal and written).
