Job Summary
The Director of Enrollment Analytics will be responsible for leading data-driven initiatives within the Enrollment Management Division, providing comprehensive insights and strategic recommendations to optimize student recruitment, retention, and enrollment strategies. This role involves overseeing the collection, analysis, and reporting of enrollment data, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights to inform decision-making across the institution.
The Director will collaborate with key stakeholders across the university, including Admissions, Graduate Admissions, Financial Aid, Marketing, Office of the Registrar, Institutional Effectiveness and Research, and Academic Affairs, to ensure data-informed strategies are in place to achieve enrollment goals and meet institutional priorities.
Job Description
  • Data Collection & Reporting: Lead the development and maintenance of systems for tracking and reporting enrollment data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Provide regular reports and analysis on student enrollment trends, demographic shifts, and retention metrics.
  • Strategic Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses of historical, current, and predictive enrollment data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for enrollment management and retention strategies.
  • Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement predictive models to forecast enrollment trends, retention rates, and yield patterns, and provide proactive solutions to potential enrollment gaps.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with leadership in Admissions, Marketing, Financial Aid, and Institutional Research to develop strategic plans and reports that align with institutional goals.
  • Decision Support: Provide data-driven support for key decision-making processes related to recruitment, admissions policies, financial aid strategies, and student services.
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor and evaluate national and regional higher education enrollment trends and demographic shifts, providing guidance on how these factors might impact institutional goals.
  • Budgeting & Resource Allocation: Contribute to the development of the department's annual budget by providing data on enrollment projections and other relevant analytics.

Minimum Qualifications
CREDENTIALS TO BE VERIFIED BY PLACEMENT OFFICER
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, data analytics, higher education, business, public administration, or a related field.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in CRM administration, enrollment management, admissions operations, data analytics, or a related area.
  • Demonstrated experience with Slate CRM and enrollment reporting or analytics.
  • Experience working with a student information system such as Banner.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree.
  • Advanced Slate experience, including queries, rules, workflows, portals, forms, permissions, communications infrastructure, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting both prospective and current students through an Enrollment Management CRM.
  • Experience with SQL, Argos, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable reporting and visualization tools.
  • Experience leading cross-functional committees, system implementations, or business process improvement initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of CRM strategy, enrollment management, and the student lifecycle from prospect through enrollment, re-enrollment, persistence, and completion.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data definitions, data security, FERPA, and responsible use of sensitive student information.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, documentation, training, collaboration, and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to support data-informed decision-making without assuming operational authority for functional areas.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with Enrollment Management, Information Technology, Institutional Effectiveness and Research, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and other campus partners.
