THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a hands-on Lifecycle Marketing & CRM Lead to own the strategy, execution, and optimization of customer lifecycle marketing across both creators and subscribers. This person will build scalable lifecycle programs that improve activation, engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Customer Success to deliver personalized experiences through automation and data-driven decision making.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Build and own the company's lifecycle marketing and CRM strategy across multiple customer segments.

  • Create automated onboarding, activation, retention, re-engagement, referral, and loyalty programs.

  • Design personalized customer journeys across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging.

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Customer Success to develop customer events, behavioral triggers, and lifecycle experiences.

  • Develop customer segmentation strategies using behavioral data, engagement patterns, and purchase history.

  • Build and analyze A/B tests to measure campaign performance and continuously optimize results.

  • Create lifecycle reporting, dashboards, and cohort analyses to measure engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value.

  • Manage and optimize CRM infrastructure, campaign operations, deliverability, and communication best practices.

  • Leverage AI and automation tools to improve personalization, operational efficiency, and campaign execution.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 6+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention marketing, or customer growth.

  • Experience building or scaling lifecycle marketing programs for a subscription business, marketplace, creator platform, consumer technology company, or similar environment.

  • Proven success improving customer activation, retention, reactivation, customer lifetime value, or revenue growth.

  • Strong experience with lifecycle journey mapping, behavioral segmentation, marketing automation, and multi-channel campaigns.

  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Iterable, Customer.io, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using customer data, experimentation, cohort analysis, and performance reporting to drive decisions.

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, and customer-facing teams.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where you can develop strategy while executing day-to-day work.

  • Experience using AI and automation to improve marketing operations, personalization, or customer engagement.

  • Experience with sports, gaming, creator platforms, marketplaces, loyalty programs, SQL, or referral marketing is a plus.
