Job description

Customer Growth Associate

We're scaling our manufacturing marketplace across the United States and are expanding our GTM team with a Customer Growth Associate to drive repeat usage, re-engagement, and revenue from existing and recently active customers.

You'll operate across customer success, sales, and operations. You'll work directly with customers who already know Vendra - helping them move faster, engaging them on their programs, and bringing new RFQs and orders onto the platform. This is a very hands-on, customer facing role with real ownership and a tangible impact on revenue.

What You'll Do
  1. Engage recently active customers
    • Act as the primary point of contact for newly onboarded and recently active customers
    • Help customers move from RFQ → quote → production
    • Answer questions, remove friction, and keep projects moving forward
    • Coordinate with operations and suppliers to unblock stalled deals
  2. Re-engage and reactivate existing customers
    • Analyze historical activity, order patterns, and customer behavior to re-engage inactive accounts
    • Proactively reconnect with customers who have gone quiet or paused usage
    • Understand why activity stalled (timing, pricing, internal blockers, technical issues, etc.)
    • Drive reactivated accounts toward RFQ submission and order placement
  3. Follow up with warm inbound leads
    • Engage inbound interest from demos, referrals, events, partnerships, and prior conversations
    • Qualify needs and guide customers toward the right next step on the platform
    • Ensure timely, thoughtful follow-ups to convert interest into platform activity
  4. Support MQL / SQL conversion and pipeline movement
    • Execute consistent outreach to marketing and sales qualified leads
    • Help convert interest into active pipeline and revenue
    • Maintain clean CRM hygiene, activity tracking, and customer notes
What Success Looks Like (In Order Of Importance)
  • Customers feel supported, informed, and excited to work with Vendra
  • RFQs, repeat orders, and customer engagement steadily increase
  • Dormant or inactive accounts are reactivated every month
  • Prototype or one-off customers graduate into repeat and production usage
  • You take on increasing ownership as you learn the platform and customer workflows
What The Ideal Candidate Looks Like
  • 1–3 years of experience in customer success, business/sales development, or customer-facing startup role
  • Experience with prospecting and lead-gen tools (HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Nav, etc.)
  • Experience with gen AI tools (enriching leads, account research, messaging iteration, etc.)
  • Exposure to CRM or sales engagement tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Highly organized and comfortable with fast paced decisions and objectives
  • Strong communication skills and confidence talking directly with customers
  • Ability to learn technical manufacturing language quickly (CNC machining, fabrication, tolerances, materials, etc.)

Nice to have (not required):

  • Mechanical engineering background or hands-on manufacturing exposure
  • Familiarity with CNC machining, 3D printing, sheet metal, or industrial components
Why Should You Join Vendra?
  • You'll be shaping the sales and customer trajectory to build a category-defining company in manufacturing
  • You'll work in an environment where your contributions will have immediate, tangible impact on revenue and success
  • You will have tremendous growth opportunities because we want our early hires to lead future organizations
Compensation
  • Base: $80,000 - $100,000
  • OTE: 50% of base at 100% quota attainment with uncapped earning potential and accelerators past 100%
  • Career growth: Clear path into Customer Growth Manager, Account Manager, or broader GTM leadership as you take on more ownership
