Job description

Do you love beautiful wood? Stunning woodworking? 100 year old Beams used in a home or restaurant? How about custom design? Do you love being part of the design/build process? Do you enjoy calling on interior designers, architects and builders? Are you comfortable walking into an office to build new relationships?

If so, you may be a perfect fit.

Our sales approach is service oriented, and we see ourselves as partners with Interior Designers, Architects and luxury builders.

What do we do? Our goal is to be one of the best custom wood supplier in the nation. We also have a sister company to do custom woodworking. You would represent both companies.

We sell and supply unique wood to builders and designers across the nation, such as custom reclaimed wide plank flooring, reclaimed hand hewn beams, unique beam wrap, Pecky cypress, and live edge slabs. We supply and install custom wood mantels, and offer installation on many of our wood products.

Responsibilities

Your job is to call on 10 to 15 clients per day, to ensure that every interior designer, architect and builder thinks of you and Good Wood first when they need something beautiful made out of wood.

You'll be part of a team based in middle Tennessee. We have our flagship showroom very close to downtown Nashville.

After your first year, your pipeline should be so full that you spend 50% of your time while only 50% prospecting and cold calling to build new relationships.

Qualifications

Experience in sales, canvassing, cold calling, and using our CRM to track all clients, info and interaction.

If you love wood, grew up in or around a woodshop, love furniture and possibly have interior design, architecture or construction experience, that's a plus.
