Job description

Job Summary
Industrial Supply is seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined individual to join our Salt Lake City team as an Industrial Tool Repair & Blade Specialist.
In this role, you will diagnose and process tool repair and warranty claims, perform approved in-house repairs, coordinate vendor repairs, and manufacture custom welded bandsaw blades to customer specifications. This position combines mechanical repair, fabrication, customer service, and inventory management in a fast-paced industrial environment.
The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting equipment, working with tools, and providing excellent customer service while helping customers keep their operations running.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Receive and process customer repair and warranty requests.
  • Diagnose repair needs and perform approved in-house repairs on industrial tools and equipment.
  • Coordinate vendor warranty claims and repair services.
  • Maintain accurate repair records and provide timely status updates to customers.
  • Weld and manufacture custom bandsaw blades to customer specifications.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain inventory of blade stock and repair-related materials.
  • Work closely with sales and warehouse teams to ensure efficient customer service.
  • Follow company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
