Role Description This full-time Welder role is an on-site position located in Bryan, TX. The Welder will perform daily welding tasks including layout, fit-up, and joining various metal components according to blueprints, drawings, or specifications. Responsibilities include operating welding equipment (MIG, TIG, and arc), preparing and cleaning materials, and inspecting finished welds for quality and structural integrity. The role also involves working with the fabrication team to assemble structures, maintaining tools and equipment, and following all safety procedures and company standards. The Welder will document work performed, communicate with supervisors about project status, and contribute to a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Welding, with hands-on experience in MIG Welding and TIG Welding.
  • Experience in Arc Welding and working safely with different welding processes and equipment.
  • Knowledge of Materials used in metal fabrication, including properties, preparation, and appropriate welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect and verify weld quality and dimensions.
  • Commitment to safety practices, including use of PPE and adherence to OSHA and company guidelines.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and work in various positions and environments.
  • Previous experience in an industrial or fabrication setting; welding certifications or vocational training are a plus.
