Type: Open-Ended Contract or contract to hire

Pay: $48-62/hr

You’ll lead software initiatives that directly solve real business problems. Projects span SaaS, utilities, manufacturing, healthcare, non-profit, and more.

Although the client base includes startup, enterprise, and public-sector organizations, the delivery culture is fast-moving, product-focused, and startup-paced. Every engagement is unique, collaborative, and requires strong ownership.

What You’ll Do

  • Own delivery of custom-built applications from discovery through launch
  • Develop project plans, technical requirements, and delivery roadmaps
  • Partner closely with product and engineering to align on scope and priorities
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retros)
  • Drive sprint execution and ensure consistent delivery quality
  • Identify risks early, manage dependencies, and remove blockers
  • Communicate timelines, decisions, and tradeoffs clearly
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with UX, QA, DevOps, and client stakeholders
  • Champion a delivery culture rooted in clarity, speed, and continuous improvement

What Makes You a Strong Fit

  • 5–10+ years leading custom software development projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, cross-disciplinary project teams of at least 25 to 30 individuals, including oversight of subordinate leaders such as Team Leads, Coordinators, or Project Managers
  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and iterative delivery
  • Ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable direction
  • Skilled at balancing multiple projects and priorities
  • Confident facilitator with exceptional communication skills
  • Comfortable working directly with clients across varied industries
