Job description
We are recruiting for a local structural steel and metal facility that supplies products and custom services to construction and fabrication projects. We are looking for an experienced Saw Operator with diverse manufacturing experience. The selected candidate will: Report directly to the Shop Supervisor / Branch Manager Be capable of heavy lifting Use band saws for custom cutting, including mitre and multiple cuts Maintain cutting tolerances as provided by the customer Skid and band product as per customer instruction Use handheld torches, tow motor, overhead crane, tape measure, micrometers, verniers Perform receiving tasks Provide customer service for account and cash sales as required. Complete necessary paperwork for the office personnel relating to product and size, number of pieces, cutting instructions and signoffs.
