Job description

Custom Packaging & Products, Inc. is a 51-year family-owned manufacturer specializing in custom-printed food service papers used by restaurants, bakeries, delis, and national brands across the country. We take pride in quality craftsmanship, responsive service, and a team-first culture. We are expanding and seeking a skilled Flexographic Press Operator to join our production team. If you are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and take pride in producing high-quality printed products, we'd like to talk. Responsibilities: • Set up, operate, and maintain flexographic printing presses (water-based inks) • Read and interpret job tickets, plate layouts, and print specifications • Perform color matching and registration adjustments to ensure consistent quality • Monitor print quality throughout the run and make necessary press adjustments • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of press equipment • Assist in plate changes, ink changes, and material setup • Work safely and follow the company's production and quality standards • Communicate with the production and QC team regarding any concerns or issues Qualifications: • 2+ years of flexo press operation experience (preferred) • Wide-web or narrow-web background acceptable • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability • Ability to lift and move rolls of paper and related materials (up to ~50 lbs) • Ability to stand for extended periods • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Compensation: $19 - $25 hourly
