Job description

Project Manager - Superintendent New Custom-Home Construction

This position is for an onsite/multi-site Project Manager for various jobsite locations with custom designed homes and individual homeowners on their own property. You will plan/schedule subcontractors to be onsite as needed to execute the build-time the project dictates.

Must have experience with new-homes (custom homes preferred) to be considered.

Location: Monroe / Charlotte NC!

They work in 50 offices across 11 states and work directly with the local clients to build semi-custom homes in affordable to semi-custom niche.

Main Responsibilities for this role:

  • Over-communication with customers (& subcontractors) to ensure the highest satisfaction.
  • Construction site management extending from the design & precon process, subcontractor-selection & executing contracts to managing safety and scheduling through c/o.
  • Ensuring Budget & Schedule are met while also closely watching the quality of construction.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidate will need experience in residential construction (preferably in On-Your-Lot or scattered lot building).
  • Managing multiple projects (8-10 typically) at one time with average home prices ranging up to $525-625k (avg.)
  • Qualifications include a 4+ year proven track record of successful operations & project leadership and within New Construction.
  • Candidate will need to express good team-building skills & excellent communications abilities with customers/owners.
