Were seeking an experienced Master Electrician who excels in custom residential environments and is committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.

Position Summary

As a Master Electrician, you will serve as the technical authority on custom residential projects, overseeing installations, ensuring code compliance, and supporting project planning. Youll work handson in the field while also providing guidance to journeymen and apprentices. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, enjoys solving complex electrical challenges, and thrives in a collaborative, detaildriven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and perform electrical installations for custom residential homes, including roughin, trimout, and specialty systems
  • Ensure all work meets NEC standards, local code requirements, and Powered Solutions quality expectations
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to journeymen, wiremen, and apprentices
  • Review and interpret blueprints, oneline diagrams, and designer lighting plans
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions
  • Collaborate with project managers, builders, designers, and homeowners to maintain project alignment
  • Assist with project planning, material selection, and job sequencing
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to safety protocols on all job sites
  • Document work performed, field changes, and material usage
  • Support integration of smarthome systems, lowvoltage components, and specialty fixtures (training available if needed)

Qualifications

  • Valid Texas Master Electrician License
  • 7+ years of residential electrical experience (custom home experience strongly preferred)
  • Expertlevel knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support field teams
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle complex installations
  • Excellent communication and customerfacing skills
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed plans, schematics, and engineered drawings
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and active construction environments
